Rasheed Sait, Vice President & Managing Director, George P. Johnson (GPJ) Experience Marketing India, was awarded for his outstanding contribution to the Event Management industry at the twelfth edition of the Marketing Excellence Awards organized by Indira Group of Institutes. The award ceremony took place on March 2 in Pune.
The platform acknowledges and recognizes the best of the brands and individuals behind them in the field of marketing excellence. Sait was conferred with the award for his leadership and contribution to the experiential marketing industry. The win serves as a testimony to Sait’s achievements across various domains spanning management, marketing, advertising and experiential marketing.

After working for ten years with companies and agencies such as Ogilvy and Lintas, Sait joined George P. Johnson (GPJ), in 2003 as Country Manager. Since then, Sait has led GPJ into one of India’s leading experience marketing agencies, known for its strategic thinking, award winning creative and world class execution.
The agency has won many other accolades like the ‘India/South Asia Specialist Agency of the Year 2012′ by Campaign Asia Pacific for agency expansion, new business growth, client and staff retention and consistently driving business results through innovative experience marketing solutions.
The theme observed at the awards ceremony this year was ‘Brand Sustainability’ in which The Indira Group brought forward brands that have sustained over the years, innovating and re-innovating to keep up with the changing times.
