Meta steers shifts in business communication
Meta hosted their global conference, Conversations 2023, at the Jio World Convention Center. Spread over more than 1 lakh square feet of event space, this was one of the largest Meta gatherings in India for SMBs, developers, partners, and enterprises.
GPJ partnered with Meta to conceptualize and execute Conversations 2023 based on the theme message-driven business. Each of the experiences was designed to spotlight how business communication has evolved with the popularity of messaging services, such as WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram Direct.
Mark Zuckerberg opened the experience with a virtual keynote and announced the launch of WhatsApp Flow, new payment capabilities, and Meta Verified for Business. The keynote was followed by various sessions led by leaders and a dedicated partner track – all of which were hosted in the silent conference format.
GPJ seamlessly integrated every experience and touch point with Meta’s chatbot to showcase the power of WhatsApp Flow. Attendees could interact with live activations centered around Speech to Text, Reels Studio, Coloured Shadows, Circle of Chat, Mixology, Chaat Corner, and an art installation that showcased client stories. A navigational ‘Way Finder’ application set up on touchscreens and available as a mobile application was greatly appreciated as it mapped the event space to help attendees navigate, locate sessions, and find other relevant information.
Conversations featured a host of talented artists such Jasleen Royal and DJ Suketu, Karan Singh Magic, The Tabla Guy, and illustrator Alicia Souza who elevated the experience with their captivating performances.
